Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Audiologist to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality audiological services to our patients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for audiology and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our ENT consultants and Audiological Physician to provide full diagnostic support and rehabilitation services.

We offer a range of exciting opportunities for professional development, including training in Adult Rehabilitation, Tinnitus Retraining Therapy, and Vestibular Assessment. Our department is committed to the development of our staff and regularly sends members on external training courses.

Main Duties of the Job

As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing hearing aid fitting services
  • Conducting balance assessments using Caloric and ENG/VNG testing
  • Leading Tinnitus clinics
  • Working in dedicated paediatric clinics
  • Participating in research and audits

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A BSc (Hons) in Audiology
  • BAAT Part II or CAC or CCC
  • Membership of BAA/BSA

Desirable criteria include:

  • MSc in Audiology
  • RCCP membership
