Parker Meggitt Polymers & Composites is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at our Stevenage site. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work on developing processing techniques and engineering assembly strategies to enable the manufacture of specialized advanced parts for use in aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency in the manufacturing environment.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new manufacturing processes and tools.
  3. Conduct PFMEA's and implement control plans across a range of different product lines.
  4. Identify and specify tooling requirements for moulding and assembly processes and the ability to accept and approve tooling for production use.

Requirements:
  1. Experience in working with composites materials is essential.
  2. Academic Qualifications to HND level within a relevant engineering subject or an accredited Engineering Apprenticeship in addition to industry experience.
  3. A self-starter, with proven ability for working with minimal supervision and take ownership of driving activities through to completion.
