Job Title: Principal Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of manufacturing processes and procedures
  • Manage project and functional workloads to ensure completion on time
  • Lead continuous improvement activities and represent the manufacturing team at various forums
  • Responsible for the delivery of the team and people management

Requirements:

  • Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21
  • Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • BEng in relevant Engineering Degree
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Be highly motivated and enthusiastic
  • Be a recognised point of contact for manufacturing enquiries
  • Must demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving
  • Have the ability to interpret Design Drawings
  • Must be confident in people leadership
