Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Parker Meggitt Polymers & Composites. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work on developing processing techniques and engineering assembly strategies to enable the manufacture of specialized advanced parts for use in a range of aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for creating concise work instructions for end-to-end composites component manufacture to support a "Right first Time" philosophy. You will also play a part in leading continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and identify and specify tooling requirements for moulding and assembly processes. Additionally, you will conduct PFMEA's and implementation of control plans across a range of different product lines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need experience in working with composites materials and academic qualifications to HND level within a relevant engineering subject or an accredited Engineering Apprenticeship in addition to industry experience. You will also need to be a self-starter with proven ability for working with minimal supervision and taking ownership of driving activities through to completion.
