About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at I C Talent Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support and supervision for pupils aged 11-18, fostering their engagement in the learning process and working towards specific aims and objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional 1:1 support and supervision for pupils
  • Plan, deliver, and document sections of individual learning programmes tailored to pupils' needs
  • Support vulnerable young people, enhancing their emotional well-being and raising their aspirations
  • Assist the classroom teacher in managing pupil behaviour and delivering lessons
  • Monitor and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers, parents, and other professionals as required
  • Prepare and organise educational materials and resources to support learning activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience working with SEN children in the UK
  • Active DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Availability for full-time work during term time only

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
