About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a Special Educational Needs School. As an Education Support Worker, you will provide professional 1:1 support and supervision to pupils aged 11-18 with diverse special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer tailored support and guidance to promote pupil engagement and progress.
- Develop and implement individual learning plans to cater to each pupil's unique needs.
- Foster emotional well-being by providing support and encouragement to vulnerable young people.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to pupil education and care.
- Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 months' experience working with SEN children in the UK.
- Active DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- Availability for full-time work during term time only.
