SEN Teaching Support Professional

We are partnering with a Special Educational Needs School dedicated to supporting pupils aged 11 to 16 with a range of social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. The school caters to students with diverse special educational needs, including dyslexia, social communication difficulties, ADHD, autism, and Tourette's syndrome.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer professional 1:1 support and supervision for pupils aged 11 to 18, fostering their engagement in the learning process and working towards specific aims and objectives.
- Plan, deliver, and document sections of individual learning programmes tailored to pupils' needs, ensuring they receive personalised support.
- Support vulnerable young people, enhancing their emotional well-being, raising their aspirations, and assisting them in achieving their full potential.
- Assist the classroom teacher in managing pupil behaviour, delivering lessons, and creating a positive learning environment.
- Regularly monitor and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers, parents, and other professionals as required.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience working with SEN children in the UK.
- An active DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Availability for full-time work during term time only.
The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
