Job Overview

As a key member of the hVIVO team, the Resource Scheduling Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical trials. This involves managing the medical rota, working closely with senior clinical staff and the wider business to design and adapt a staffing plan for each study.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the Clinical Operations monthly rota, adhering to hSITE rota standards.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Operations Team and hSite project teams to determine resourcing requirements.
  • Input into hSite quarterly operational resourcing forecast, considering all areas within the business.
  • Manage the hVIVO working bank database, ensuring staff receive appropriate communication and documentation.
  • Work with hSITE study project teams to ensure appropriate staffing requirements, identifying efficiencies and maximising resource utilisation.
  • Manage the internal Resource Scheduling system, delegating tasks as appropriate and building new study schedules.
  • Ensure Clinical Operations staff receive required documentation for daily duties.
  • Train new starters in resourcing activities.
  • Coordinate the 24-hour emergency on-call rota for Medical personnel, liaising with external providers.

Requirements

  • Effective communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and use initiative.
  • Good time management and flexibility.
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge of software packages.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role in a Clinical Research or Healthcare Provision environment.
