We are seeking an experienced Breast Cancer Specialist Nurse to join our team at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. The ideal candidate will have significant post-registration experience in breast and/or cancer care, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

This is a fixed-term role for 12 months or secondment opportunity, offering the chance to work closely with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of our services.

The successful candidate will be a registered first-level nurse with current NMC registration and relevant further education/training in breast cancer care/oncology. A degree in a related subject is also desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality patient care in breast cancer clinics
  • Working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to service development

Person Specification:

  • Essential Qualifications:
    1. Registered General Nurse with Current valid NMC registration
    2. First level degree in related subject
    3. Cancer care qualification
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    1. Advanced communication course
    2. Recognised teaching qualification
