Senior Palliative Care Nurse Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Registered Nurse to join our supportive, professional team within the Inpatient Unit at Bolton Hospice.
About the Role:This challenging and rewarding opportunity is ideal for anyone wishing to further develop their nursing skills and knowledge within specialist palliative care. As a Senior Staff Nurse working as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, you will support patients with complex clinical needs and provide hands-on, person-centred care.
Our staff strive to provide the highest quality of service for our patients and their families and carers, through a collaborative team approach.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting patients with complex clinical needs
- Providing hands-on, person-centred care
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
To apply for this role, you must be a Registered General Nurse who is enthusiastic and flexible with a passion for specialist palliative and end of life care. A recognised post-registration palliative care qualification is desirable, although you will be fully supported in the role if you have limited or no experience with the specialty.
Benefits:You will have access to a range of training and development opportunities and be welcomed as a valued member of an experienced and supportive team. The salary for this role is £28,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus unsocial hours enhancements paid in addition.
The role covers a 24-hour, 7 day service and will therefore include weekends and rotation to night duty. Long day shifts and night shifts would be expected.
