We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Breast Cancer Care Specialist Clinical Nurse to join our team at the Transformation Unit. This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in breast cancer care.

This role requires a registered first-level nurse with current NMC registration and relevant further education/training in breast cancer care/oncology. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and experience in working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of breast cancer care, including treatment options, patient needs, and emotional support requirements. They will be able to deliver exceptional standards of care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality breast cancer care, adhering to best practices and guidelines.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in educational activities to enhance knowledge and skills in breast cancer care.
