Job Overview

The Operational Services Director - Health and Fitness will lead and operate a successful DL Club, ensuring a smooth operation and adherence to day-to-day health & safety and compliance regulations. This role requires full accountability for delivering excellent member experiences, driving club targets, and implementing strategies to achieve business objectives.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the operational functions of the club, including sales, marketing, customer service, and facilities management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive club targets, improve member satisfaction, and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure effective communication, goal alignment, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, compliance, and regulatory adherence.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting employee engagement, development, and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing large operational services delivery facilities, preferably in the leisure or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering exceptional member experiences.
