Endoscopy Booking and Administrative Officer

About the Role
This is a cross-site position between the North Tees and the Hartlepool sites, requiring the post holder to have knowledge and understanding of Endoscopy patient pathways to book a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures following endoscopy training.
The post requires the ability to deliver all reception duties, following the appropriate training.
Main Responsibilities
- Book endoscopy diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Communicate with multi-disciplinary medical and surgical teams
- Adhere to all Trust and Endoscopy specific policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Ensure high-quality work outputs and meet patient waiting times and pathway targets
- Identify additional capacity needs and liaise with Endoscopy Coordinators and Admin Lead
- Perform reception duties, including patient arrival and discharge via the Trust's electronic patient record, TrakCare
- Utilize technologies and equipment to optimum functionality
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and liaise with staff and external service users
- Support updating and maintaining standard operating procedures
- Organize interpreters and perform general office duties
