Job Title: Performance Improvement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Improvement Manager to join our team at Tarmac. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and efficiency across our Aggregate and Asphalt businesses.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement data-driven solutions to optimize business processes.
  • Lead and facilitate root cause analysis to understand problems and develop sustainable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide governance and support for improvement projects across the business.
  • Share best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in performance and project management, or operations leadership roles within a Quarrying / Manufacturing / Engineering environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including coaching, mentoring and development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
