Performance and Reporting Manager - Defence

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance and Reporting Manager to join our Defence team in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality performance reporting and project controls services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving Performance Reporting: Develop and implement performance reporting processes to create efficiency and increase benefits to our clients.
  • Performance Management Planning: Create performance and reporting management plans for our clients based on project requirements, maturity, and best practice.
  • Process Improvement: Drive the implementation, embedding, and roll-out of changes to Performance and Reporting processes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Promote the benefits and requirements of Performance & Reporting within the project and programme team.
  • System Administration: Appropriately select, implement, administer, and maintain Performance & Reporting Systems and procedures.
  • Reporting Hierarchy: Lead implementation and change controlling reporting hierarchies and approaches.
  • KPI Definition: Lead the definition of KPIs and performance measures dictionary.
  • Team Leadership: Lead teams of project controls / performance & reporting professionals to deliver effective, consistent, assured, and value-adding performance information to our clients.
  • Performance Recovery: Present / provide performance recovery recommendations to relevant stakeholders and senior management to support effective decision making.
  • Training and Coaching: Train and coach clients and less experienced team members on performance and reporting management processes and practices.
  • Line Management: Undertake line management activities including career development and performance management.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in project controls and performance reporting, with experience in leading small teams and implementing Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting, and performance reporting and analysis. You should also have a basic familiarity of some Project Controls software and experience in using data analysis tools.

Please note that due to the sensitive nature of the works involved in these specialist defence projects, candidates will be required to hold, or be able to hold, valid security clearance (SC).
