We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Computational Biologist to join our team at KEMIO Consulting. As a key member of our computational team, you will play a critical role in driving the development of cutting-edge computational biology solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects and initiatives to advance our understanding of cardiometabolic disease research
- Collaborate closely with wet lab scientists to design and implement experimental approaches
- Oversee product management responsibilities to ensure seamless integration of computational and experimental workflows
- Develop and implement data analysis, visualization, and modeling pipelines using Python and/or R
- Lead the development of omics, big data, and advanced modeling capabilities
- Improve data processing pipelines and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Present research findings to both internal and external stakeholders
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field
- Extensive post-study work experience in industry, with a strong background in statistical modeling and functional genomics analysis
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or R
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
