Senior Computational Biologist - Functional Genomics

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Computational Biologist to join our team at Hyper Recruitment Solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading biotechnology company based in the London area.

  1. Utilize computational biology approaches, data integration, and biological knowledge to identify novel therapeutic targets.
  2. Develop pipelines to process, quality control, and analyze genetic and functional genomics data in cancer.
  3. Collaborate with the computational biology and software engineering teams to create and maintain high-quality and well-documented code.
  4. Contribute to the team's success by meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant degree in a related field.
  2. Proven industry experience in computational biology and cancer biology.
  3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Python, R, bash/Unix scripting, and Nextflow.
