About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Mental Health Assistant to join our team at a school in Hounslow. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference in the lives of students.

As a Mental Health Assistant, you will provide vital support to students with SEMH needs, working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to develop effective strategies.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong academic background in Psychology or a related field, as well as excellent communication, empathy, and organisational skills.

Compensation:

Daily rate of £96–£105 on a permanent PAYE contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-to-one and group interventions to support students with SEMH needs.
  • Develop and implement personalised support plans, monitoring progress closely.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school environment, promoting resilience and emotional wellbeing in students.
