About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmologist to join our medical team at Practice Plus Group. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a range of ophthalmology procedures on patients referred to the service, ensuring the highest standard of care and treatment.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure high standards of patient care.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • UK registered medical professional with experience in high-volume phacoemulsification under topical anaesthesia.
  • Experience in Oculoplastic and Medical Retina procedures is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
