About the Role

AFRY is seeking an experienced Nuclear Safety and Reliability Specialist to join our team in the Nuclear Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the development and implementation of various projects in nuclear safety and reliability services for domestic and international clients.

You will contribute to projects in the following areas:

  1. Hazard Identification and Analysis
  2. Safety and Hazard Analysis
  3. Quantified Risk Assessment
  4. Engineering Design Substantiation
  5. Option Studies
  6. Plant and Site Licensing
  7. Safety Case Documentation Production, Review, and Update
  8. Client Relationship Management
  9. Project Management
  10. Mentoring Emerging Talent

Requirements

We are looking for Engineers who are enthusiastic and passionate about nuclear safety and reliability. A Bachelor's or Master's Science or Engineering degree in a relevant STEM subject is required. You should have an aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis, including statistics, and be proficient in MS Excel. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others are essential.

Virtually all the work we do requires teamwork, so if you have good communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others within a project team and wider office environment, you will fit in well. We are also looking for the ability to explain complex information in a clear and logical way verbally in English and using both Word and PowerPoint.
