About the RoleThis Senior Nuclear Safety Engineer position involves working on safety assurance deliverables during design, construction, operation, and decommissioning. The successful candidate will support our client in managing nuclear safety and ensuring compliance with Site Licence Conditions.
The key responsibilities include:
- Production of safety case deliverables;
- Modification/design change submissions (LC/AC 22);
- Decommissioning; Functional safety assessment; Regulatory interface/generic design assessment (GDA); Availability, reliability, and maintainability (ARM); System safety; ALARP assessment; Safety & risk assessment; Deterministic safety assessment; Probabilistic safety assessment; Nuclear safety legislation, regulation, and policy; Engineering substantiation; HAZOP and other identification studies; HAZAN; Criticality; Nuclear fire;
The ideal candidate will have experience in safety case development, including production, modification/design change submissions, and decommissioning. They will also be familiar with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
