National Nuclear Laboratory: A Career in Nuclear Sector Engineering

As a Mechanical Technical Support Specialist at National Nuclear Laboratory, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that contribute to the safety and efficiency of our infrastructure. With a strong background in mechanical engineering, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the technical basis of maintenance (TBoM) process and assisting with planning for complex maintenance activities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the TBoM process to ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and company procedures and standards.
  • Collaborate with the Mechanical Team Leader to ensure all maintenance tasks are briefed, understood, and performed safely and on schedule.
  • Support the installation, modifications, and commissioning of installed equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree Qualified (Mechanical) or HND in an equivalent discipline.
  • Able to become PMP Manager and obtain DV level security clearance.
  • Proven supervisory experience in operations within a nuclear plant.
