Sales Development Manager

The Lignum Group is seeking an experienced Sales Development Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing sales across a designated territory, focusing on selling roofing products to house builders and contractors nationwide.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's commercial objectives.
- Promoting product performance by increasing plastic utilization among customers.
- Fostering strong partnerships with internal teams to support and close roofing opportunities.
- Serving as a key stakeholder in the development of the roofing sales strategy, collaborating cross-functionally to drive sales and service performance.
- Maintaining high standards of operation, including call reports, CRM reporting, credit notes, and quotes.
- Building and nurturing new and existing customer relationships to maximize account potential within the territory.
- Establishing and managing a robust site pipeline to achieve sales targets.
- Analyzing sales data to inform commercial activity while leveraging emerging technologies to optimize sales opportunities.
Requirements:
- Strong sales background with experience in account management and business development.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth.
- Experience working with CRM systems and other sales tools.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum based on industry standards and location.
