Head of Business Development and Partnerships

This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the College and its community through dynamic partnerships and innovative use of our resources.
Reporting to the Assistant Principal: Enterprise & Partnerships, you will provide vision and leadership of the Carnegie Conference Centre team, providing strategic management of the centre's activities to enhance connections with businesses and wider stakeholder groups.
Main Responsibilities:- Launch the new Carnegie Conference Centre, focusing on scoping new innovative opportunities.
- Create a compelling portfolio that meets market needs by engaging with businesses and stakeholders.
- Promote innovation and investment to drive business awareness and income growth.
- Become a College ambassador, building strong relationships with industry leaders, local businesses, and community stakeholders.
- Increase revenue streams and expand market reach.
- Oversee financial planning, budget management, and reporting for enterprise activities.
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in resource management income generation.
- Successful working with employers and leading business-to-business activity.
- Understanding of funding streams in the business, education, and skills sector.
- Driving innovative quality improvements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
