About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the College and its community through dynamic partnerships and innovative use of our resources.

Reporting to the Assistant Principal: Enterprise & Partnerships, you will provide vision and leadership of the Carnegie Conference Centre team, providing strategic management of the centre's activities to enhance connections with businesses and wider stakeholder groups.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Launch the new Carnegie Conference Centre, focusing on scoping new innovative opportunities.
  2. Create a compelling portfolio that meets market needs by engaging with businesses and stakeholders.
  3. Promote innovation and investment to drive business awareness and income growth.
  4. Become a College ambassador, building strong relationships with industry leaders, local businesses, and community stakeholders.
  5. Increase revenue streams and expand market reach.
  6. Oversee financial planning, budget management, and reporting for enterprise activities.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in resource management income generation.
  • Successful working with employers and leading business-to-business activity.
  • Understanding of funding streams in the business, education, and skills sector.
  • Driving innovative quality improvements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
