Empowering Learning: Deputy Head Pastoral Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Head Pastoral to join our Senior Leadership Team at Empowering Learning. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the pastoral, safeguarding, and professional practices of our school meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the pastoral care team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote student wellbeing and safety.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to student support.
  • Contribute to the development of the school's strategic plan and budget.

Requirements:

  • Extensive teaching experience and management experience.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to lead and delegate effectively and positively.
  • Demonstrable enthusiasm for education and the welfare of young people.
