Residential Care Home Manager

Ventry Care Homes is seeking an experienced and dynamic Care Home Manager to lead our team of care professionals in providing high-quality care to elderly and dementia patients in a residential care setting.
Key Responsibilities- Service User Safety: Protect service users from avoidable harm and abuse, manage risks to service users, and ensure care staff provide assistance in a timely manner.
- Medication Management: Manage the medication process, including receiving, administering, recording, and returning medicines correctly.
- Staff Management: Assist in the recruitment procedure, mentor new care staff, and ensure care staff have the confidence and skills needed to carry out their roles and responsibilities.
- Quality Improvement: Review and monitor the quality of the service, drive improvement, and complete relevant safety checks.
- Service User Engagement: Promote social activities, support, facilitate, and record access to the local community.
- NVQ 5 / RMN / QCF completed.
- A proven track record as a registered manager or other senior position within a residential care setting.
- Elderly / dementia experience.
- A sound knowledge of the CQC and applicable legislation / standards.
