About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing complex care support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide all care needs, including personal care, to our clients in a safe and respectful manner.
  • Administer medication and equipment as needed, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Assist clients with transportation to and from appointments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in our clients' homes and vehicles.
  • Monitor and manage stock supplies, ensuring adequate levels are maintained.
  • Organize and maintain clients' clothing, belongings, and equipment, respecting their wishes and preferences.
  • Ensure the holistic wellbeing of our clients is supported at all times, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs.

Requirements:

  • Excellent care skills, empathy, and patience, with the ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to respect clients' autonomy and support them in performing tasks they would perform themselves if they were non-disabled.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
