Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated male personal care assistant to join our client's support team, providing essential assistance in a home environment. As the legal employer, we ensure that you will focus solely on this client, fostering a stable and supportive relationship. All positions are permanent, subject to a six-month probationary period.
Work Schedule and Compensation: The role offers flexible hours with a total of 48 hours available, either as one full-time position or split into two part-time roles (24 hours each). The pay structure is as follows: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM = £ per hour; Monday to Friday, 8 PM to 8 AM (waking night) = £ per hour; Weekends = £ per hour. Shift patterns will be discussed during the interview process.
Client Support Requirements: Your primary responsibility will be to deliver complex care support to our active and creative client, helping him maintain independence by assisting with various health, personal, social, and professional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care needs, including personal care.
- Administer medication and necessary equipment as required.
- Assist the client with transportation to appointments.
- Maintain cleanliness in the client's home and vehicle.
- Monitor and manage stock supplies to ensure adequacy.
- Organize and care for the client's belongings and equipment with respect.
- Support the client's overall wellbeing at all times.
