About the Role
Social Worker Job DescriptionThis position involves working within the Children In Need Team, providing expert support and guidance to children and families. Key responsibilities include:
- Writing comprehensive reports
- Collaborating with Public Law Outline (PLO) teams
- Attending Child Protection meetings, Case Conferences, and Looked After Children reviews
- Developing and implementing Children In Need plans to ensure effective support for children
- Preparing court reports and conducting Section 47 investigations
Requirements
Qualifications and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Social Work England (SWE) registration
- A minimum of one year's post-qualifying experience in the UK Social Care industry
- An Enhanced DBS/CRB check or eligibility for us to obtain one for you
- Eligibility to work in the UK
