Special Educational Needs Teacher

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering tailored lesson plans to cater to the unique needs of students with special educational needs.
About the Position:
This is a full-time opportunity where you will work closely with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to ensure comprehensive support for each student. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, developing and delivering lesson plans, and regularly assessing and monitoring student progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of students with SEN.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching methods to maximize learning outcomes.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent SEN teaching qualification. You will have demonstrable experience working with children with special educational needs and an in-depth understanding of SEN teaching strategies and interventions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential, as well as a compassionate, patient, and adaptive teaching approach.
