BioPharma Business Development Director Transformation Specialist

Our BioPharma unit connects with a global network and patented algorithms, giving the BioPharma community access to high-quality real-world data, leveraging the SOPHiA DDM platform.

As our new BioPharma Business Development Director, you will be responsible for building BioPharma data partnerships throughout EMEA. This remote position is based in Europe, but France, Switzerland, or the UK is highly preferred.

Your Mission:
  • You will understand and help shape the clinical questions of interest for BioPharma customers, developing tailored solutions for both R&D and Commercial needs.
  • You will prospect, develop partnerships, and negotiate commercial contracts for BioPharma Data Solutions, including formulating pricing and sales strategies.
  • You will contribute to shaping BioPharma Data Solutions by identifying new use cases and optimizing offerings in collaboration with the product and medical teams.

Requirements

This role supports our BioPharma Business unit (distinct from our diagnostic applications). The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of consultative sales experience, specifically providing solutions to customers in the BioPharma or BioTech sectors.

  • You must have experience providing RWD/RWE solutions to Pharma and BioTech companies.
  • You should have exposure or knowledge of Data analytics, Clinical Trials, or Market Access.
  • You need a strong entrepreneurial mindset, with ability to generate new leads and explore new projects, and the resilience to pursue company-wide opportunities.
  • You require a success-orientated and solutions-focused mindset, that embraces team collaboration, change, growth, and inclusion.
