Compassionate Residential Support Professional

As a senior residential support worker at Aspris Children's Services, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to children and young people with autism and associated conditions.
The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential and Childcare, along with previous experience in a residential childcare setting.
You will be responsible for supporting the registered manager in running a successful staff team and overseeing the day-to-day operation of the home.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Care Planning: You will be responsible for updating care plans and reporting information relevant to the care of our young people.
- Team Leadership: You will work closely with the registered manager to lead and motivate the staff team, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care and support.
- Youth Engagement: You will engage with our young people, understanding their needs and developing strategies to promote their well-being and happiness.
- Collaboration and Communication: You will work effectively with colleagues, families, and external agencies to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 per annum, plus benefits including access to a reward and discount scheme, comprehensive induction, flexible working, and commitment to ongoing training and career progression.
Linden House provides care and support to children and young people with a primary diagnosis of moderate to severe autism with moderate challenging behaviour and associated conditions such as ADHD and Tourette's Syndrome.
