About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional SEN and Disabilities Coordinator to join our highly regarded Director of SEN at a leading all-ability academy in Buckinghamshire. As a key member of our Inclusion and Well-being Team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional pastoral support to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 16 lessons per week to KS3 students
  • Support the Director of SEN in managing transitions, exams access arrangements, and interventions
  • Coordinate and record the delivery of interventions
  • Line manage some members of the SEN Department
  • Prepare and attend Annual Reviews, meetings with external agencies, and parent meetings
  • Deliver CPD for staff
  • Day-to-day running of the department as required

Requirements:

  • Experience of SEN and a drive to achieve the highest quality of provision
  • Outstanding teaching skills and ability to 'think on your feet'
  • Professional approach to all stakeholders, clear communication style, and 'can do' positive outlook
  • Ability to problem-solve and remain flexible and organised
