Learning Disability Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Learning Disability Nurse to join our team. As a Band 5 Community Learning Disability Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to individuals with learning disabilities in the community.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with learning disabilities to identify their health needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Provide a range of clinical interventions and treatments to meet the individual needs of service users.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and coordination.
- Develop and maintain relationships with service users, carers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and support.
- Participate in health promotion initiatives and contribute to reducing health inequalities.

Requirements:- Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD) qualification.
- Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
- ENB 998 or Mentorship and Support in Professional Practice.
- Post-graduate qualification related to a specialist LD clinical area of practice.
This is a part-time, flexible working opportunity with compressed hours. The salary is £29,970 to £36,483 a year, pro rata.
Please note that this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required.
