Enhancing Learning Outcomes for Children with Special Needs

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a mainstream school in Abergavenny. This is an excellent opportunity for a SEND TA looking to work in a supportive and inclusive environment where every child is given the opportunity to succeed.
**Role Overview:** As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to deliver tailored support and help students access the curriculum. You will provide individualized support to students with SEND, assist with lesson planning and delivery, and support students with behavioral or emotional difficulties.
**Key Requirements:** Experience working with students with SEND, Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent, strong understanding of SEND, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Additional Information:** The successful candidate will be required to register and have passed all safeguarding/vetting checks with Prospero Teaching.
