This role will play a crucial part in achieving our organization's objectives regarding community engagement, particularly in the areas of recreation, education, and social needs of residents and community groups in West Norfolk.

As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, including local residents, community groups, and customers using our facilities at the Discovery Centre. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing prompt and effective services to customers, suppliers, and colleagues via various channels, including face-to-face, telephone, email, text, and web
  • Marketing and promoting the services offered by our organization to optimize usage and ensure their availability for the benefit of the community
  • Assisting community groups with event promotion and ensuring they have access to necessary equipment and services
  • Managing day-to-day cash collections, petty cash float, and reconciliation

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also have a strong understanding of data protection, equality, and diversity requirements within a customer-facing organization.

We offer a competitive salary of £24,495.83 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) for a full-time position of 37 hours per week.
