About the Role

Derbyshire County Council is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Enablement Support Team Lead. This is a fixed-term role that requires the successful candidate to manage and organize effective provision of services through specific projects, specialist advice, and guidance, as well as day-to-day team coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve outcomes through supporting and assisting the well-being of individuals.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to provide high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary professional teams in localities across Derbyshire to deliver services that promote independence and community engagement.
  • Adopt new ways of working and ensure that collaboration is at the heart of everything we do.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with external bodies to ensure effective service delivery.
Requirements
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to create an inclusive team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of the care sector and experience of working in a similar role.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.
