We are in search of compassionate, friendly, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Lead Care Specialist. To qualify for this position, you MUST possess your Level 2 in Health & Social Care AND be prepared to pursue your Level 3 qualification.
Compensation: £12.70 per hour for 35 hours per week, with additional pay for Bank holidays. Travel time compensated at 30p per visit.
Bradcare Limited is a Domiciliary Care provider located in Swadlincote, dedicated to delivering care to service users in their residences. We operate within Swadlincote and nearby regions.
For this role, you must hold a Full UK Driving License and have access to a vehicle.
Available Shifts: 06:00 to 14:30 & 15:00 to 22:00
Key Responsibilities
The Role:
- Mentor care assistants in the community and during their induction.
- Serve as a role model for both new and existing staff, facilitating shadowing shifts.
- Conduct risk assessments and reviews within service users' homes.
- Engage in on-call responsibilities.
- Perform spot checks and report any notable practices to the office.
- Be trained in medication administration.
- Maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and in emergency situations.
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
