About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Sous Chef to join our team at WSH Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.
  • Station Management: Oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring adequate supplies are available.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste are consistently exceptional.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with all team members, providing coaching and support to junior chefs to enhance their skills and development.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or similar role, with a strong understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
