Executive Chef - RNAS Yeovilton Junior Mess

Position Overview:
  • Hourly Rate: £16.20
  • Weekly Hours: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
  • Holiday: 2 weeks off during the festive season
  • Bank Holidays: Not applicable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crafting exquisite, high-quality meals that satisfy our clientele
  • Spotting opportunities to enhance our culinary services
  • Fostering a welcoming kitchen atmosphere for team members
  • Delivering our delightful food offerings to patrons
  • Upholding the reputation of Compass Group UK&I and ensuring a positive brand presence
  • Managing food procurement, inventory control, and minimizing waste
  • Supervising kitchen sanitation duties to uphold hygiene standards
  • Overseeing financial management and achieving budgetary goals
  • Adhering to Food Safety & Hygiene regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possesses a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ certification
  • Creates an environment where the entire team can excel
  • Exhibits strong communication skills and builds rapport easily
  • Brings experience from a similar Executive Chef position
  • Aims for excellence with enthusiasm and motivation
  • Takes initiative and makes informed decisions for customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrates a strong desire to excel in the role
  • Can perform well under pressure
  • Exhibits outstanding punctuality and dependability
  • Maintains a safety-first approach
  • Shows a passion for culinary arts
