Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Channel Marketing Specialist to join our team at Targus. As a key member of our EMEA marketing team, you will be responsible for providing support to our Channel Marketing Manager in creating and delivering channel marketing materials, database maintenance, and account-specific communication and action plans across the B2C/B2B channel.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support Channel Marketing Manager: Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across B2C/B2B channels, delivering against clear objectives, on time and on budget.
  2. Database Management: Manage the MDF database and constantly review and work on structural improvements in conjunction with the Finance team.
  3. Channel Customer Support: Coordinate and manage strategic channel customer requests for marketing materials and communications, maintaining file sharing platforms and using best practice examples wherever possible.
  4. Internal Collaboration: Support the Channel Marketing Manager with material and ideas for internal webinars and presentations, liaising with key stakeholders within the business.
  5. Key Account Monitoring: Monitor key account websites for activity, review POE, and report back to the Channel Marketing Manager on a monthly basis.
  6. Gap Identification: Identify gaps and promotional opportunities in key accounts and suggest relevant actions to be worked on with the Channel Marketing Manager.
  7. Event Execution: Support in-market event execution and coordinate the EMEA event calendar with full visibility for all key stakeholders.
  8. Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with key stakeholders across all internal functions when necessary.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree educated in a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years' comparable experience required in a similar channel marketing role, preferably in the IT, CES, or FMCG industry.
  • Skills: Proven track record of executing effective channel marketing and best practice, proficiency in PPT and Excel, and excellent communication skills and written English.
  • Core Competencies: A positive, can-do attitude, creative and imaginative, able to find practical solutions to problems, and strong administration, organizational, and planning skills.
