About the Role

Targus, a leading provider of mobile solutions, is seeking a skilled Channel Marketing Specialist to join our EMEA team. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and brand share across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support Channel Marketing Manager: Collaborate with the Channel Marketing Manager to execute marketing campaigns across B2C and B2B channels, delivering against clear objectives, on time and on budget.
  2. Manage MDF Database: Oversee the management of the MDF database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information, and working closely with the Finance team to improve structural improvements.
  3. Coordinate Channel Customer Requests: Manage strategic channel customer requests for marketing materials and communications, maintaining file sharing platforms and utilizing best practices.
  4. Support Internal Webinars and Presentations: Assist the Channel Marketing Manager in developing material and ideas for internal webinars and presentations, liaising with key stakeholders within the business.
  5. Monitor Key Account Websites: Regularly review key account websites for activity, analyze POE, and report back to the Channel Marketing Manager on a monthly basis.
  6. Identify Gaps and Promotional Opportunities: Collaborate with the Channel Marketing Manager to identify gaps and promotional opportunities in key accounts, suggesting relevant actions to be worked on.
  7. Support Event Execution: Assist in the execution of in-market events, coordinating the EMEA Event Calendar with full visibility for all key stakeholders.
  8. Liaise with Internal Functions: Communicate with key stakeholders across all internal functions as necessary.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years' experience in a comparable channel marketing role, preferably in the IT, CES, or FMCG industry.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines while adhering to an agreed budget.
  • Proven track record of executing effective channel marketing and best practices.
  • Ability to present project recommendations and influence the EMEA marketing and sales teams.
  • Planning/organization skills, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in PPT and Excel.
  • MDF budget and management experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and written English.
