Job Overview:

The University of Oxford is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join the Law Faculty. As a Data Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming and accelerating the university's ambition to ensure that students can fulfill their academic potential.

This is an exciting new role created through a philanthropic gift from a major law firm. You will work closely with various teams, including Access & Outreach, Admissions, EDI, Undergraduate Studies, and Careers Liaison, to analyze factors that predict outcomes of interest.

Your findings will inform the selection and design of measures to best support students and explore points of intersection between challenges facing the Faculty and employers. You will be line managed by the Vice Dean and have the opportunity to develop a dynamic and sector-leading program to address complex issues.

Key Requirements:

  • PhD/DPhil level education or equivalent professional experience
  • Advanced skills in data analysis, economics, applied mathematics, statistical modeling, or computer science
  • Experience working with large datasets, R, and/or Python

Salary: £49,050 per annum
