Venn Group is seeking an experienced Data Insights Professional to join our team in Oxford. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analysing large datasets to inform business decisions and drive strategic growth.
About the Role- The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in data analysis software and tools, including SQL, Excel, R, Python, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, with the ability to explain complex data concepts in a simple and engaging way.
In this role, you will work closely with clinical and managerial staff, as well as external stakeholders, to provide timely and accurate data insights that inform decision-making and planning.
You will also play a key role in developing and implementing data standards, policies, and systems to ensure data quality and integrity.

Main Responsibilities- Taking ownership of large-scale projects, delivering, supporting, and ongoing improvement of routine and ad-hoc reporting on activity, waiting times, and performance against operational measures.
- Collecting, validating, and integrating data from various sources, such as electronic patient records, clinical systems, surveys, audits, and national datasets.
- Applying appropriate statistical and analytical methods and tools to analyse and interpret data, such as descriptive and inferential statistics, data mining, data modelling, and data visualisation.
- Responding to ad hoc data requests and queries from internal and external clients, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality.
We offer a competitive salary of £37,338 per annum, plus a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and training.
