The role of Building Physics Engineer at Buildout Recruitment Ltd is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join their team. This position involves delivering the energy-related element of various design projects, as well as undertaking a variety of energy tasks and projects.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering the energy-related element of various design projects
  • Undertaking design modelling and calculations
  • Providing guidance to junior engineers and CAD/Revit Technicians
  • Liaising with clients, other members of the design team, suppliers, and contractors

This includes:

  • Client-facing work
  • Receiving and understanding project requirements
  • Energy strategies and statements for planning and 'As Built' purposes
  • Performance and emission calculations
  • Passive or low-energy design solutions
  • Energy modelling and low/zero-carbon energy concepts
  • Overheating (Part O/TM52/TM59) calculations and reporting
  • TM54 Reports and reporting for BREEAM criteria
