About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sports Partnership Manager to join our team at Acronis. As a key member of our sports marketing team, you will be responsible for managing our partnerships with sports teams and events, and working closely with our managed service providers (MSPs) to activate their sports marketing rights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our MSPs and sports teams
  • Advise and assist MSPs in negotiating and planning the use of sports rights to deliver on set marketing objectives
  • Lead regular cadence calls with sports teams and MSPs to ensure alignment and progress
  • Work closely with our brand team to ensure content approvals and consistency across all partnerships
  • Train and advise MSPs on how to effectively use sports rights to drive marketing objectives
  • Manage and activate multiple partnerships simultaneously, ensuring seamless execution and maximum ROI
  • Work closely with our partner marketing managers and account managers in EMEA to align goals and objectives
  • Proactively manage sports event activations and logistics, including gameday and non-gameday events
  • Be embedded in the EMEA region, contributing to regional meetings and reporting on sports-related matters
  • Manage Acronis sports tickets and work closely with our GM to drive lucrative opportunities
  • Support sports events, including liaising with sports teams to book event space and making introductions to key personnel
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in sports marketing or a related field
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Proactive approach to account management
  • Strong relationships with sports teams and MSPs
  • Ability to solve problems logically and creatively
  • Efficient time management and attention to detail
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and managing events
  • Fluent English (other languages an advantage)
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
