About This Role

As a Senior Carer with East Dunbartonshire Council, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our customers. You will be responsible for reviewing and updating Support Plans, leading by example, and supporting the planning and review of staff rotas.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working in social care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a high-performing team. You will also need to be passionate about delivering the best experience of care for our customers and committed to supporting the council's vision.

The salary for this role is £41,500 - £46,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to customers in East Dunbartonshire
  • Update Support Plans to reflect changes in customer needs and desired outcomes
  • Provide guidance and support to junior members of the care team
  • Contribute to the planning and review of staff rotas to ensure effective resource allocation
