Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Residential Care Support Professional to join our team at East Dunbartonshire Council. As a member of our residential care team, you will work with children and young people who require out-of-home care, providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their welfare and development.
Key Accountabilities:
- Deliver high-quality residential care to children and young people on a full-time contract.
- Work in partnership with families, social workers, education, and health professionals to support children and young people to promote their welfare and development.
- Undertake outreach work in the community, supporting young people and their families while they remain at home.
- Contribute to the continuous achievements and improvements of Ferndale Children's Services and Ferndale Outreach Service.
This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week. The role involves a flexible 5/7 working rota, which includes day, evening, night-shift, and sleepover duties during emergencies. The estimated salary for this role is approximately £39,000 per annum.
