Water Industry Professionals Wanted for Night Shift Positions

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team as Network Technicians in the water industry, working on a night shift basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the field of water and wastewater services.
The successful candidates will be responsible for collecting samples on behalf of our client, Scottish Water, operating from defined hydrants and recording operations to report back on water quality parameters. They will work as part of a two-person team, with an experienced Senior Technician, and will be required to travel across Scotland.
This role is based in Kirkintilloch but may require occasional travel. We are looking for individuals who are confident and enjoy working outdoors, sometimes in remote environments, and who have excellent health and safety skills. The ideal candidate will also have a full UK driving license and be flexible to work away from home when required.
In return, we offer a competitive salary of approximately £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a 40-hour week, paid overtime, and opportunities for career progression.
About the Role:
- You will work as part of a two-person team, with an experienced Senior Technician, collecting samples on behalf of our client, Scottish Water.
- You will operate from defined hydrants, recording operations to report back to our client on water quality parameters.
Requirements:
- A full UK driving license is required for this role.
- Excellent health and safety skills, with the ability to risk assess, spot hazards and identify control measures to allow safe working.
- Flexibility to work away from home when required.
- Ambitious, solution-focused attitude, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
