Special Educational Needs Teacher

Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £170 - £195 per day
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive client school in Chesterfield. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering tailored education to students with a range of additional needs.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of students with SEN. They will also create and adapt educational materials and resources to enhance learning, monitor and assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching students with SEN.
- Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently when necessary.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
